Generated explanation

A cross section shows a domed, self-flashing skylight installed in a sloped shingle roof, with a skylight well extending down to the ceiling. The surrounding structure includes roof rafters, a header, ceiling joists, and an exterior wall. An enlarged detail shows the skylight frame, integral curb and flashings, and a channel for collecting condensation. The annotation warns that the small integral flashings make these skylights more prone to leakage; no active leak is depicted.
