Generated explanation

The illustration compares aluminum-wiring compatibility designations for a panel, dryer and stove receptacles, a light switch, and a duplex receptacle. The panel and appliance receptacles are grouped under an annotation identifying CUAL as an appropriate designation for that equipment. The light-switch annotation states that CUAL is acceptable in some jurisdictions. The duplex receptacle is marked CO/ALR, and its annotation states that CUAL is not acceptable for electrical outlets.
