Generated explanation

A building cross section shows a boiler connected to two radiators in a single series-loop hot-water heating circuit. Red piping carries hot water from the boiler through the first radiator and onward to the second, with arrows indicating flow direction. Blue piping returns cooler water from the second radiator to the boiler. The annotations explain that each consecutive radiator is cooler and that individual radiator shutoff valves typically are not installed because closing one would stop flow through the whole system unless a special bypass were provided.
