Generated explanation

The illustration shows a hydronic finned-tube baseboard heater with a sheet metal cabinet enclosing a tube and closely spaced heat-transfer fins. An exposed tube end and arrow indicate water flow through the heating element. Cool air enters beneath the cabinet, passes over the finned tube, and exits warm through the upper opening by natural convection. Annotations identify typical steel or copper tubes, with aluminum fins typically used on copper tubes and steel fins usually used on steel tubes. No defect or improper installation is depicted.
