Generated explanation

A building cross section shows a steam boiler and boiler feed pump below a radiator. Red arrows trace steam from the boiler header through the supply main and up the radiator supply pipe, while blue arrows indicate returning condensate. The radiator outlet has a thermostatic steam trap, and the end of the supply main has an F & T steam trap connected to the return piping. The feed pump receives condensate through vented return piping and connects back to the boiler, with a separate connection labeled to the supply plumbing system. An annotation distinguishes the header condensate drain from an equalizer pipe, and a note states that no equalizer pipe or Hartford Loop is required when a boiler feed pump is used.
