Generated explanation

The illustration shows an older-style gas-fired unvented space heater with an exposed burner flame, a textured panel behind the flame, and a decorative enclosure. A gas supply pipe connects to the lower side of the heater through an elbow. An upward arrow shows exhaust gases discharging directly into the living space rather than through a vent. The annotations warn of spillage, backdrafting, carbon monoxide poisoning, and excess humidity, and note that unvented space heaters are not permitted in some areas.
