Generated explanation

The illustration shows flexible duct branches connected to a rectangular rigid duct distribution system, with rigid ducts recommended for main runs and vertical risers. Horizontal flexible ducts are shown suspended with supports, while a vertical flexible branch has closely spaced support straps. Annotations specify maximum length, support spacing, bend radius, clearance from hot equipment, and independent support for termination devices. A flexible duct crossing a metal object illustrates contact and tight bends to avoid. Prohibition symbols identify exterior installation, soil contact, direct sunlight, and embedment in concrete as unsuitable conditions.
