Generated explanation

Three schematic sections depict rotary, spray, and drip evaporative coolers, each drawing outdoor air through a wetted drum or pad and delivering air to the house with a blower. The rotary unit has a motor-driven drum whose lower portion passes through a water reservoir. The spray unit uses a water slinger to spray water onto an evaporative pad. The drip unit uses a recirculating pump and distribution tube to deliver reservoir water to the top of an evaporative pad. Each reservoir has a float valve, and no defects are depicted.
