Generated explanation

An exploded view shows a duplex electrical outlet, a foam gasket, and a cover plate. The gasket fits behind the cover plate, with its central opening and screw holes aligned with the outlet and plate. A callout identifies gaps around the electrical box at the wall opening. The illustration presents the gasket as an inexpensive, easily installed air-sealing measure that can be effective even in older homes.
