Generated explanation

The upper cross section shows a ceiling-mounted exhaust fan and duct running through attic insulation beneath a sloped roof. Red crosses identify an unlocated termination, a poor termination location within the attic, a leaky or disconnected duct connection, and an uninsulated duct. The lower-left detail shows the fan housing with its cover removed, exposed wiring, and annotations identifying unsafe wiring, ineffective operation, a missing cover, and noise. The lower-right detail shows an exterior exhaust outlet on a brick wall, highlighting weather hood defects and inadequate backflow prevention at the flap.
