Generated explanation

A lavatory sink drains through a P-trap and a sloping horizontal fixture drain into a vertical waste stack. An arrow shows drainage flowing toward the stack, and the drain is labeled with a slope of 1/4 inch per foot. A dimension marks 5 feet between the trap outlet area and the stack. The annotation explains that a fixture drain within this distance often does not require a separate vent because the stack itself serves as the vent.
