Generated explanation

The illustration shows the gable end of a house with a steep roof that curves outward to a shallower slope at each bell-cast eave. The gable has vertical siding and a small window above a brick wall with larger windows. A callout identifies the curved eave on the left. A dashed circle highlights ice buildup and a hanging icicle at the right eave, illustrating the noted susceptibility to ice damming in cold climates.
