Generated explanation

Two circular views compare decorative details beneath the roof cornices of brick buildings. The left view shows widely spaced, shaped brackets beneath a projecting cornice, with rectangular framed panels between them. The right view shows a row of small, closely spaced rectangular dentils beneath the cornice. Both views include a sloping shingled roof and a brick chimney. The illustration distinguishes architectural ornament rather than depicting installation defects.
