Generated explanation

The illustration shows a small siding panel with two enlarged cutaway views of oriented strandboard (OSB) construction. One view depicts a five-layer panel and the other a three-layer panel. The separated layers expose wood strands, with arrows indicating alternating strand directions between adjacent layers. An annotation states that individual wafers or strands are at least twice as long along the grain as they are wide. The drawing explains panel construction rather than showing installation details or defects.
