Generated explanation

An oblique view shows a house with a jointed paved walk or patio running directly alongside its foundation wall. The paving slopes toward the house rather than away from it. Blue shading along the wall represents water collecting at the paving-to-foundation junction. The callout identifies foundation wall damage and basement leakage as consequences of this improper drainage.
