Generated explanation

Two cross sections compare window glass positioned toward the exterior and toward the interior of a wall. The outboard arrangement is marked with a red X and shows cold exterior air and a cooled-air circulation loop beside the recessed interior glass surface. Its caption states that the glass is cold and condensation forms. The inboard arrangement is marked with a green check and shows warm interior air passing close to the glass, with a warmed-air circulation loop on the exterior side. Its caption states that the glass is warmer and condensation is less likely to be a problem.
