Generated explanation

Four sectional details show maximum permitted projections of masonry veneer beyond its supporting lintel or concrete support. The first detail shows brick bearing on an angle lintel, with a maximum projection of 1-1/8 inches beyond the lintel edge. The next two details show brick projecting beyond concrete supports: a maximum of 1/2 inch for brick 3 to 3-1/2 inches thick, and 1 inch for brick 3-1/2 inches thick or more. The final detail shows rough stone veneer with its irregular outer face referenced to a line of average projection, limiting the overhang to one-third of the bed width.
