Generated explanation

A perspective cutaway shows a wood-framed wall and floor assembly supported by a foundation wall. Wall studs rest on a sole plate above the subfloor, with an end joist and sill plate below. Dashed outlines highlight rot at the sole plate and the bottoms of the studs. An annotation explains that condensation water runs to the bottom of the wall and causes the most damage in these locations.
