Generated explanation

The illustration compares three electrical service-box arrangements, identifying utility supply entries, grounding connections, and main disconnects. Arrangement A shows a main circuit breaker integrated into a panel with two columns of branch circuit breakers. Arrangement B shows a separate service box containing two cartridge fuses, connected by a raceway to a panel containing screw-in fuses. Arrangement C shows a combination fuse panel with a pull-out main disconnect above the branch circuit fuses. Dashed outlines emphasize the main disconnect or service-box locations; no defects are indicated.
