Generated explanation

The illustration shows a gas furnace with adjacent ductwork and a flue collar on top of the cabinet. Arrows link the collar to three vent connector configurations: a reduced-diameter connector and an enlarged-diameter connector marked with red prohibition symbols, and a uniform-diameter connector marked with a green check. The annotations state that the connector diameter should match the flue collar and that an oversized or undersized connector could cause condensation or combustion-product spillage. A separate note states that vent connector size should increase where more than one appliance is manifolded.
