Generated explanation

The illustration shows a rectangular air filter positioned on the return-air side of a forced-air heating blower, with the blower drawn in dashed outline. A perforated support face is shown on the blower side of the filter. A magnified view highlights the filter's edge marking, with the air-flow arrow pointing toward the blower. The annotations explain that correct orientation keeps the filter material from being sucked into the blower.
