Generated explanation

The illustration shows an electronic air cleaner installed at the cold-air return connection to a gas furnace, with the supply plenum indicated above the furnace. The cleaner is opened to expose a mesh prefilter and a plate-type electronic filter cell. An airflow arrow on the cell and a red prohibition symbol highlight improper cell orientation. Annotations explain that all required prefilters must be present upstream of the electronic filter and that the cell airflow arrows must point in the correct direction for proper operation.
