Generated explanation

The cross section shows an inclined slab evaporator coil in the supply plenum above a furnace heat exchanger. A blower draws return air into the furnace and pushes it upward through the heat exchanger and coil to become supply air. A condensate tray at the lower edge of the coil connects to a condensate line that extends down to a drain. The perspective view shows the finned slab coil, its collection tray, and the drain line discharging above a floor drain. An annotation states that no trap is required in some areas and that an air gap is needed at discharge.
