Generated explanation

The illustration shows an enclosed attic evaporator coil with return and supply ductwork, with arrows indicating airflow into and out of the unit. A primary condensate line connects to the unit and includes a trap; its condensate tray is identified as typically built into the unit. An auxiliary condensate tray beneath the enclosure has a separate drain line labeled as having no trap. The primary drain discharge options are listed, while the auxiliary drain is directed to a conspicuous location, such as outdoors above a window or door. A note identifies PVC as the typical condensate drain material.
