Generated explanation

A house section illustrates a bathroom exhaust fan ducted through the roof and a kitchen range hood discharging through an exterior wall. Arrows show bathroom air entering the ceiling fan and cooking exhaust moving through the range hood to the outdoors. The bathroom fan is linked to a wall control, with annotations recommending quiet operation and manual, timer, or humidistat control. Notes specify outdoor discharge clearances, prohibit discharge into confined areas or below decks, and call for a hooded termination with a backdraft flap.
