Generated explanation

A cutaway view shows a single-pipe jet pump with an electric motor connected to the pump assembly. The exposed housing reveals the impeller, nozzle, and venturi, with an inlet from the well at the front and a discharge connection at the top. Colored arrows trace water flow through the pump and the internal circulation identified as priming the pump. Notes identify this single-pipe design as the most common pump used on shallow wells and state that two-line jet pumps are used for deep wells.
