Generated explanation

The illustration shows an instantaneous point-of-use water heater installed beneath a basin. A single cold-water supply line branches to feed both the faucet's cold side and the heater inlet, while a separate hot-water line connects the heater outlet to the faucet's hot side. The supply lines are labeled as typically 3/8 inch, and an annotation indicates that a flow-restricting aerator may be installed at the faucet outlet. A note specifies that the heater is permanently wired to the electrical system. The basin drain and P-trap are also shown, with an arrow indicating drainage flow.
