Generated explanation

A sectional drawing shows a kitchen sink with its fixture outlet pipe extending down, offsetting horizontally, and then dropping through the floor to a trap below the floor framing. The faucet supply line and shutoff valve are shown beside the sink, adjacent to the wall framing. A dimension arrow follows the long tailpiece route from the sink outlet to the trap, with an annotation stating that its total length should not exceed 24 to 36 inches. The illustration identifies this tailpiece arrangement as too long.
