Generated explanation

Two sectional views illustrate the filling and flushing stages of a pressure-assisted toilet. In step 1, water enters a plastic chamber inside the tank, compressing the air within it; arrows also show the bowl refilling. In step 2, compressed air pushes water from the chamber into the toilet at high pressure. Flow arrows trace water through the rim openings and bowl, then through the curved trapway into the drain below the floor. The illustration explains normal operation rather than depicting a defect.
