Generated explanation

The illustration shows a bathroom with a bathtub and shower surrounded by tiled walls, with a window located in the wall above the tub. A red prohibition symbol overlays the window, identifying this location as undesirable. Arrows point to areas beneath the window where window rot, wall stud rot, soft tile backing, and loose tiles can occur. An annotation states that a waterproof curtain over the window may help but may not provide a positive solution. A pedestal sink, mirror, and open bathroom door are also shown; the shower rod and curtain are explicitly omitted for clarity.
