Generated explanation

A cutaway view of a whirlpool bathtub shows the pump, pressure piping, wall jet, suction piping, and suction cover, along with the drain and overflow assembly. Arrows indicate circulation from the suction connection through the pump to the jet. The illustrated water level is below the jet, causing the exposed jet to spray above the water, and is marked with a red X. A dashed line marked with a green check indicates the proper testing water level, 1 to 3 inches above the jet.
