Generated explanation

The illustration shows a glazed entry door opening onto a wood deck, with an enlarged detail of the doorsill. The sill is raised above the deck surface, and the annotations recommend a 1-1/2-inch to 6-inch step up into the house to reduce water or snow entry beneath the door. A vertical dimension at the enlarged sill is marked 6 inches. A downward arrow instructs the inspector to apply weight to the sill to check its support; no failed or damaged support is depicted.
