Generated explanation

The illustration shows overhead electrical service connected to service entrance cable running down the exterior wall of a house to a meter. An enlarged detail shows the upper end of the SE cable bent into a downward-facing gooseneck, with a heat shrink sock at the conductor exit. The service entrance conductors form drip loops below their splices to the service drop conductors. A service drop attachment insulator supports the incoming overhead service at the wall.
