A
a jumper wire should be used to bridge around dielectric plumbing connectors
water meter
B
a jumper wire should be installed around a water meter if the electrical service is grounded downstream of the meter

Generated explanation

The illustration shows two locations where bonding jumper wires are needed to maintain electrical continuity through metal water piping. Detail A shows a jumper bridging a dielectric connector between copper and galvanized pipe. Detail B shows a water meter in a pipe assembly with an elbow and shutoff valve, and a jumper bypassing the meter. The annotation specifies that the meter jumper is needed if the electrical service is grounded downstream of the meter.
