Generated explanation

The illustration compares combustible-clearance dimensions for a circulating-type gas room heater and a radiant gas room heater, each with a vent connector. The circulating heater is labeled with 12-inch clearances from the sides and back (noted as variable), 24 inches from the front, and 36 inches from the top. The radiant heater is labeled with 18-inch clearances from the sides and back (also variable), 36 inches from the front, and 36 inches from the top. Colored arrows show air entering the circulating heater below and heated air exiting above, while wavy arrows indicate heat radiating from the radiant heater. A note states that combustible clearances vary significantly by jurisdiction and advises checking with local authorities.
